As creative lead over the Valvoline Instant Oil Change account, I oversaw the production of this high-end mailer that targeted VIOC store franchise prospects. It was mailed in a custom-made VIOC Red outer that housed a magnetic box. The inner box was printed solid black using spot varnish over matte finishes to give it an upscale and less-branded feel. A checkerboard pattern was spot varnished around the outer edge to hint to the driving theme.

Inside the magnetic box was a pair of high-quality leather gloves, the only hint of branding was the special “V” snap to help give them more staying power and feel like a true gift.
